Research Summit 2010

Information

Date: October 19, 2010

Location: MIT Faculty Club, Cambridge, MA

The summit is an all-day event showcasing the latest SEAri research, as well as dynamic interactive discussions with the systems engineering community of key challenges that can be improved by collaborative research between MIT and SE leaders. Format includes presentations, discussions, and an interactive poster session discussion with students and researchers. The theme for this year's summit is "dynamic strategies for uncertain futures." Research talks and discussions will connect to the theme, illustrating how characterizing changes in system context can be leveraged to develop strategies to maintain system value.

Invitation Letter, Agenda, Registration Form

MIT SDM Annual Conference to explore systems thinking for contemporary challenges.

MIT's annual systems thinking conference, sponsored by the System Design and Management Program (SDM) showcases the new ways of thinking, working, and leading required to address today's complex challenges. This year's event will focus on complexity and innovation in energy, health care, sustainability, and service systems.

Designed to provide practical information on how to integrate technology, management, and social sciences to achieve success, the conference will take place October 21-22, 2010, at the MIT Media Lab.
